Philip Belamant is the Founder of The Fintech Disruptor, a London-based Fintech business consulting firm, and one of the first to provide financial services startups with expert advice and guidance. Philip has worked on over 20 Fintech projects since 2011.

He is also the Chairman of the UK FinTech Association (UKFTA) and is a member of its Board of Directors. Philip also sits on the Board of Directors for several other non-profit organizations. He was recently appointed as an Advisor to the Government Digital Service (GDS) in London – a crucial part of Prime Minister David Cameron’s strategy to improve government transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

Philip Belamant graduated from the University of Wales with a degree in Economics. He has worked as a Financial Consultant for the past seven years and is considered one of the leading Fintech experts in the UK. He has also worked at Barclays Bank, Royal Scotland, and UBS. Philip is also a member of the Independent Committee of Experts (ICE) to develop an EU-wide regulatory framework for Fintech, announced by European Union Commissioner Andrus Ansip in September 2015.
