Sudhir Choudhrie was born and raised in India. However, work and entrepreneurship activities have made him travel across countries and reside in the US. He was a bright student throughout his childhood, though he could be interrupted by frequent hear tissues. However, this did not stop him from pursuing his education. One of his most outstanding mentors is his mom, who took care of him after his father died. As early as eight years old, he was diagnosed with heart disease and had to go through surgery to help him live longer.

After graduating from high school, Sudhir Choudhrie joined the University of Delhi. Here, he earned a degree in economics that helped him work at his grandfather’s real estate company. After a couple of years at the real estate company, Sudhir Choudhrie decided to venture into his business. One of the ventures that he exploited was India’s export market. Therefore, he created the Magnum Trading Company in 1975. However, this was not the only industry that Sudhir Choudhrie was interested in. He ventured into tourism, founding companies like Taj Hotels and Resorts. One of the most significant inventions is the Air Deccan, which he founded in 2003. He started the aircraft-friendly aircraft company with only one plane but expanded to many aircraft within five years.
